Personal Communications Devices Celebrates Two-Year Anniversary
Hauppauge, N.Y. - Personal Communications Devices (PCD), a leading provider of wireless devices to service providers in North and South America, today commemorates its two-year anniversary. PCD, formerly known as Audiovox Communications Corporation and UTStarcom Personal Communications, has been a key industry player since 1984.
Led by President Philip Christopher, PCD continues to revolutionize the way wireless products come to market, serving as a global gateway for technology partners and providing high-quality, reliable and versatile wireless communications devices. Since 2008, the company has maintained a presence in North and South America and introduced the availably of PCD handsets in multiple countries through major wireless carriers.
In 2009, PCD introduced its Advanced Devices Division. Led by Joe Cufari, the division was introduced to expand PCD's product portfolio for its carrier partners, create new opportunities for its global manufacturers and strengthen the company’s position as a leading supplier of advanced communication devices.
